It was perfect for my island range. The only detail that should be noted is the the covers are welded solid and can not be separated to slip on at the end. This makes the assembly a little more complicated for balance and holding for the final mounting and you have to use both parts so that they can be installed which makes it hang about 2 inches lower.. The description on Wayfair was quite misleading. the description link mentions 30" 900 CFM Externally Vented Island Mount, which to me meant 30 inches wide, but it is actually 36 inches wide, which thankfully works for the limited space i have. Still have to get it installed as we dont have a vent and need a contractor to do the work but excited to get to see what this can do. items in the box look well made and sturdy. will update once installed and running with more information. Amazing range hood! Not easy to install, we actually still were sweating trying to get it secured in with four people involved. The instructions say at least two people, but I would get more people helping! It understandably took us a long time, but it is very sturdy. We have just short of 8 ft ceilings, and wanted it about 30” over the stovetop, so we also had to cut the two covers for the top portion. Get a metal cutting wheel and grinder, it was definitely not a job for someone who doesn’t have experience doing that, but you could cut it a different way if needed. Not necessary to alter like that though for taller ceilings, or lower placements. Installation aside, this range hood works beautifully and is strong even on its lowest setting. The lights are not blinding, and it’s nice having just buttons for control on both sides. Absolutely would recommend, for anyone who has the right help to install! (That probably goes for any island range hood). Sally. Tulsa, OK. Tue Jan 28 2025

5 star for style. Havent been able to use them yet. Unfortunately, the recirculating kit is on back order for 4 to 5 weeks. We used to 24 ones to side by side to create a 48 as this one only came in 24 or 36, and we wanted a sleek 48 for the client. Latanga. Decatur, GA. Sun Sep 15 2024
