We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground. However, with laying down the mattress and lying on it they support the weight and the frame feels sturdy/doesn't wobble. Still waiting on the mattress but I like the adjustable headboard and the sleekness of this frame. For a frame of this price, I think it’s worth the price. I love this bed. It shipped very fast, arrived in about 5 days. I was nervous because there weren’t any reviews but turned out great. All pieces were free of damage or cracks. I’m really pleased with the quality. It feels VERY solid. No creaks or noises anywhere. Everything fit together perfectly and the instructions were clear. My one and only con is with the panels, the silver bolts kinda stand out and the sticker that it comes with to cover them, doesn’t match the color of the wood- Brown sharpie should do the trick.
