This is exactly the size and shape I was looking for. It is great as a cocktail ottoman and a foot rest. The only reason for 4 stars is that it kind of feels like a cardboard box with padding on it. I don’t think I’d use it as a seat, except maybe for someone very small. The velvet fabric is soft and looks great. It’s just doesn’t seem like a high quality piece, but it works for our needs.. This is a very nice-looking ottoman with great storage, but I do have a few reservations about its long-term durability in a busy household. Pros Functionality True to Size It measured exactly as expected, though visually it feels quite large and substantial next to my couch. Easy to Smooth Out While most items left on top will leave a slight mark or indentation in the faux leather, the material is forgiving enough that you can easily rub your hand over it to make the marks disappear.
