Very happy with these- I was replacing some adjustable height stools (one had quit being adjustable) and wanted swivel but without adjustable feature. I liked the look of these and seat height was exactly where the adjustable ones usually “lived”. They feel very sturdy and the seat is ample width and thick firm padding. They are lower profile too so don’t block sight line of counter (upper back sits right at counter level). I think it will be a good height for grandkids too. These counter stools are easy to assemble, sturdy, and complement my kitchen as well as adjacent living areas perfectly. I am an 80 senior and assembled my two stools myself. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool.
