This product is crafted from Tulip Poplar and comes unfinished and chemical-free. Most of our customers choose to leave the wood unfinished, but we do provide finishing instructions for staining or painting.

I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. I just got this and put it together so I can’t speak on durability yet but it arrived undamaged and is exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty easy to use and feels sturdy. I got the cherry finish and it perfectly matches my other furniture in the room. As others mentioned the directions and labels aren’t completely accuratethe easiest but I just checked the set up video online whenever I got a little hung up. We ordered this day bed and we love it. We have dogs that like to get on our sofa and this one is a much better option. It is lower to the ground so keep that in mind if you’re buying it instead of a sofa. I also noticed many people in the reviews saying that the pillows provided won’t fit in the covers. I opened the pillow stuffing folded it in half and put it in the pillow covers and they seem to work perfectly (see picture of small gray pillows). I do think that the daybed needs more pillows so I added some green ones for a pop-up color that matches the other patio decor. I really love this, it’s perfect for our needs. I would’ve given them a five star instead of four but I agree with other reviews that it is difficult because some of the fasteners don’t lineup with the pre-imbedded fasteners. It arrived in 3 boxes; one came 3 days later than the others, but they sent an email letting us know this would happen. Assembly was a chore, and the written instructions are cryptic at best (confession: didn't watch the video). Also some of the barrel nuts had been thrown loosely in the box, separate from the sealed parts bag; we didn't find them till we were breaking down the boxes. However, despite these issues, once assembled, we really like the bed; good quality materials, folding from bed to couch works very well, and the bed is quite comfortable with an 8" mattress.. David. Our futon arrived on the exact day they said it would. It was fairly easy to assemble and seems to be of good sound quality. I wish the mattress was just a bit thicker but it’s quite comfortable to sit on. We plan to use it as a bed when guests come hence my wishing the mattress was just a little bit thicker. Super simple and quick to put together, also very easy to adjust into a bed or back into a futon. Really pretty color but it’s suede not leather, either way it has a leather aesthetic. This sofa bed is genuinely amazing and absolute perfection once you finally get it together. It is super comfortable, looks fantastic in the space, and the built-in USB and Type-C ports, side table, and storage armrests make it an absolute game changer for functionality. The side table did arrive chipped twice, but customer service has been wonderful, kind, and extremely prompt about sending out replacements. Fair warning on the assembly side of things because you will want to bring your patience the instructions are horrific and none of the parts are marked, so setup turns into a bit of a guessing game. Great heavy frame. Took a bit to put all the pieces together but totally worth it. I love how it sits up a little straighter than our previous frame, more like a couch than a futon.
