The chair has a nice, modern look, but it hasn’t been safe in our experience. It tips back very easily when someone leans or tries to get up. Chair legs are delicate and thinner than the standard dinning chairs. We had two incidents on the same day — my child nearly fell backward onto the dinning console behind him, and later my cousin slipped while getting up and had a minor injury. We first thought it might be a one‑off, but after multiple people lost balance, it’s clear the tipping issue needs attention. I chose the pink - very pale, floats nicely in the decor. I'm 'plus size' and won't be using it as seating myself, but it's definitely sturdy enough for a teen girl's room or for extra seating for friends of a healthy weight. It makes a terrific bedroom side table for me for now. When I move to a place with a large enough bathroom, I'll put it in there, and stack towels or a fern on it. Lightweight, of course.
