The country/cottage style of this combination of clock and thermometer will add a natural elegance to your outdoor living space.

The outdoor clock-thermometer arrived in good condition as scheduled. The instructions are confusing. The instructions indicate that the clock's hands need to be removed and replaced to remove and discard a packaging/security part. This was apparently done at the factory. The clock is keeping good time without any "assembly." The instructions about initializing the thermometer are not clear, but turning the knob on the back seems to perform the necessary function. The item is attractive and functions well so far. We are disappointed that the numbers are about the same color as the face. If they were a different color (like the hands) it would be easier to see the time. The scale on the thermometer is compact, and the numbers are the same color as the face. So, it is difficult to tell the difference between 30 and 40 degrees (for example). HAD WE KNOWN THESE THINGS FROM THE PRESENTATION ON THE WEB, WE WOULD HAVE SEARCHED FOR A BETTER CLOCK-THERMOMETER. All though we did use the entire weather vain. The goose is what we were looking for, and it was perfect. Let me explain. We were task we building an interactive exhibit for display in the Dallas Arboretum. The exhibit was titled Jack's Bean Stalk thus the need for a goose to lay a golden egg. The goose is mounted on the top of a twenty foot wooden structure built to simulate a beanstalk growing to the sky. Atop the structure is a castle silhouette and the goose is mounted flying above all this. [...]. Sorry I do not have a picture that shows off the goose as you would like to see.. Dan. Dallas, TX.
