I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. Wayfair furniture can be hit or miss, but this is a nice headboard and frame. I chose the dark walnut color and there's no red or yellow tint to it. It's not rustic/raw wood -- there's a finish but it's not high gloss. The design feels well thought out and everything fits together well. Horizontal wood slats are held in place by strong Velcro, which makes it easy to position your mattress. The assembly diagrams made sense and with the help of two yoga blocks for leveling/stability, I didn't need a second person to assist with putting the piece together. (For reference, I definitely had a Wayfair assembler construct my six-drawer dresser -- best money ever spent -- but as a 69-year old woman, I felt comfortable doing this job on my own.). Sabrina. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. A very heavy-duty bed frame that is specialized to fit standard King or standard queen bedding. This frame will not accommodate California or Western King bedding. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed high-strength glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 8" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4" hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. Solid bed rails and I was really happy they also come with bed slats. Only negative is there is a black marker line (sharpie?) on one of the bed rails that is on the side that is visible when put together.
