First off daisies are my favorite flower of all time! So I couldn't pass this beauty up. I was looking for a way to divide my 2nd bedroom which I use to store items I don't use regularly and this divider popped up and it was a no brainer. A bit more than I wanted to spend even on sale but as other reviews stated there is versatility in the many ways this divider can be used. So cost per options made it doable and something I see having for a very long time. I bought the 6 panel in white to give me the most options for use and because my current wall space was 124" wide wall to wall and this is the longest divider I found. I will say this is a HEAVY piece at 30lbs+. But I am not young and have no help so I put this out there. It was a challenge due to weight. But it is STUNNING! Even with the cutouts you really cannot see everything through it. I find it very well made and love the height too. If you have kids or pets and this is not secured somehow it could easily be tipped over. It is a heavy piece but a bump or accidental knock and it will go over. I have it on wood floors so that may make it less stable than on carpet. I'm sure too the more folded it is the better but I want the most coverage for my need. I wish it had 2 or 3 foot brackets to help with stabilization and for reassurance my preference. But this is a quality piece. Beautiful piece, and heavier/more solidly built than similar designs. Overall I'm happy with it, though it did arrive with some minor damage to one of the panels, and as others have noted, the white finish does rub off easily and get everywhere. I think I can easily repair the broken areas with wood glue and have decided to repaint it anyway (the distressing is uneven and makes the piece look lower quality than it is, the white is very chalky and uneven). The packaging was pretty good, but I don't know why they don't put a thin layer of foam between the panels, I think a lot of the breakage issues could be avoided with 1/4" thick sheet of foam to cushion the filigree work. The cutouts are very "rustic," so expect some rough areas and inconsistencies. The overall impression is still very nice, but I wouldn't put it near anything that could get snagged. A wonderful plus: my cat, who climbs everything, has not been able to scale this yet. I'm sure he'll keep trying, and maybe eventually manage it, but for now he has made 2 attempts and failed to get over it or knock it down, it's pretty sturdy.. Kimberly. El Cajon, CA. Room divider Beautiful, well-made, teak wood frame provides sturdiness I ordered the divider to create a private workspace within a larger room. Except for the manufacturers selection of one-way hinges, the divider is well-designed and well-made. The problem with the one-way hinges is that they restrict the type of configurations I can achieve with the divider. Thus, the divider isnt as maneuverable as I thought it would be and wouldve preferred it to be. Other than that, Im delighted with my purchase. I especially appreciate the 34 inch square bamboo framing pieces, which go all around each panel and extend about 2 inches at the bottom to become the legs. The framing protects and provides stability for the beautiful woven bamboo panels. One unexpected feature of this divider is that the manufacturer installed a small furniture glide on the bottom of each leg. Im using this divider in a room with hardwood floors, in an almost semicircular configuration around my workspace. I can push and pull on the divider, slide it away from me and towards me, and adjust the positioning of each panel, and it slides easily across the hardwood floor with no tendency to tip over.
