I like putting his favorite books and toys on the shelves, and I can plug in one of his night lights into the port which makes up for the light bar not working. Love this fan!! Perfect for the north woods lake house living room!! It goes so well with the wood beams and look of the house. What an improvement, puts off a good amount of light and love that it has a remote. Light bulbs did not come with the fan.
