Overall my son loves it and this is what he’s been wanting for a couple months now. There were a little bit of confusion on the beginning steps only because you have to really pay attention to the whole positions. After you get past that part, it’s really easy. I put this together by myself, but one person or two would be better because sometimes you need help lifting something. The side basket is a great ad on my son puts his Xbox controller in it and a water bottle. You will definitely need a hammer to put in the rails that hold the mattress up.. Kellsie. Indianapolis, IN. Love the bed! Very sturdy! That being said- the number stickers are ridiculous to get off, there are areas where you can see paint marks from darker to white (i got the white option) and the number of screws on the stairs with no screw cover stickers provided makes things look a bit cheap. We carpeted the stairs which I highly recommend doing And be sure to have a 6 inch mattress because our 9 inch was not safe up top so had to order new mattress now.. Stacey. Livonia, MI.
