Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. So the bed came quickly however I thought because of the condition that the box was in there would be damaged pieces or missing parts. Turns out everything was intact and nothing damaged. The bed itself was relatively easy to put together even though there were A LOT of pieces. The directions were clear and easy to follow. It’s a great bed for my grandson and he loves that there is a play space underneath with lights and a remote that can make them any way he wants. Even strobe if he wants to party lol. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide.
