I got this as an open box item and it was in perfect new condition! The instructions weren’t as clear, so I found a YouTube video of a similar fan. When attaching the blade part, make sure to turn the piece COUNTER CLOCKWISE to tighten instead of the usual clockwise. Absolutely love the fan!! I don’t have the biggest room so it works perfectly in mine. It’s right in the center of my room so from my bed I can feel it. I would agree with others who have said if you’re not directly under it it is sometimes hard to feel the air unless you’re directly under it but for my small room I can feel it from most areas I’m standing. I only gave it a 4 because of just that, but otherwise the fan is great. I love the different light settings as well and it does make my walls look bigger because I use to have a bigger ceiling fan that hung lower. For the price you can’t beat it.
