It wasn’t difficult, just a bit finicky and required a few adjustments before everything lined up evenly. Very well constructed for such a reasonable price. We were looking for an art deco look. The curve in the doors was just right (wallpaper was ours). Very quick delivery. Assembly took me a couple hours (77 Years old). The instructions have you put all the dowels and connectors in first - not enough space to lay everything. Solid construction. Scrollwork leans toward handcarved look rather than the machine work that created this very nice piece. Scrollwork is not too masculine OR feminine, do most men and women will approve. Staining perfectly complements the scrollwork pattern.
