The interesting flowers of this popular tropical shrub are often considered a nature's work of art. Unique exotic orange blooms are often described as a bird in flight, as a colorful crane's head, or even as a sunbird drinking water. The slow-growing plant forms a clumping habit with thick gray-green leaves upon graceful upright stems. Best with partial sun to partial shade, consistently moist soil, and high humidity. Grows to be about 4 ft. tall at maturity, extending to 5 ft. when in bloom, with a 3 ft. W spread. An outstanding tropical accent is usually used as a dramatic focal point, where it can show off its unusual form and beauty. A fine choice for the garden and outdoor patio pots, where it is often used as the "thriller" in a thriller-spiller-filler container planting. To accommodate the mature size or when planting in groups, space 3 ft. away from other plants or structures. Thrives in fertile well-drained soil and a partially sunny site, to grow indoors, place the plant out of direct sun near a warm bright window with western or southern exposure and provide as much natural light as possible.

The Beaucarnea guatemalensis, or more commonly known as the Ponytail palm and Elephants foot, are unique looking, long-lasting indoor plant which are perfect for beginners or expert plant lovers because of its low maintenance and easy care needs. The texture of the trunk looks and feels like an elephants foot from which clusters of long strap-like leaves arch and droop gracefully from the trunk giving the impression of a palm. No 2 specimens are alike ensuring that your ponytail palm is 1 of a kind. If you're looking for a plant that will make a statement and add green color in your house or office with low maintenance and easy care, then the Ponytail Palm is a great choice. Peace lily indoor house plant. With a relaxed name like peace lily, spathiphyllum is an easy-care, low-light, tropical houseplant, popular for its tall white calla-like flower spikes. It also filters indoor air and removes many airborne toxins, including formaldehyde and ammonia. Tolerates very low light levels, although, without some brightness from a window or a lamp, the plant is likely to inconsistently bloom. Long-lasting flower stalks are borne in spring and hover gracefully over the foliage. With the striking contrast of the dark green foliage and creamy white flowers held on stiff stems, it looks attractive in all types of homes and design schemes. A well-grown peace lily can bloom twice a year, resulting in several months of flower display.

This very hardy, slow growing plant has a central trunk and stiff glossy featherlike leaves that resemble a fine textured palm. An ancient plant that has been around for nearly forever, it thrives in dry areas, is cold tolerant and is suitable for Sun or shade. The plant is not as prickly as other varieties and its eventual small stature of 3 ft. tall and wide is perfect for use as a specimen plant to accent a tropical garden, in mass plantings such as those that surround the trunk of a palm tree, in patio pots set around the pool, to line a walkway or simply near a mailbox. Easy to grow in a wide range of soils, easily adapts to full Sun or full shade, is drought tolerant once established and is cold hardy down to an occasional 30-deg F. Hardy in USDA plant zones 8-11, it is not recommended to grow this plant outdoors in cooler climates. To accommodate mature size or when planting in groups, space 3 ft. away from other plants or structures. Prefers sand y soil, although will grow in most well-drained garden soils; it is not picky about sunlight, growing in full Sun to full shade.
