This is a stunning, substantial piece for my townhome's office/den. I love the black iron bar that runs through it. Great material and color juxtaposition to the solid wood. The bar is both stylish and functional as a foot rest. No ottoman needed! One caution - the walnut is much more light cherry-ish than medium brownish walnut wood, so it hardly looks like the product photo, but thankfully it still comes across as modern, as I didn't want a traditional-looking desk.
