Your little ones will cruise to Dreamland in style with the Step2 Roadster Toddler-to-Twin Kids’ Bed. Mini car enthusiasts will love the details and styling made to look like the real thing! This children’s car bed will make sleep transitions fun. Start with the toddler-size bed using your crib mattress, which sits low to the ground and allows the car walls to act as extra support to keep little ones from rolling out. When your child is ready, add the front and side panels to expand to accommodate a twin-size mattress. Using a twin mattress only, the side walls continue to provide guardrail-like support. When guardrail support is no longer needed, you can add a box spring to raise the mattress higher. With this car bed for kids, bedtime becomes a treat rather than a chore! Took about 4 hours to assemble. We didn’t do the rock wall or hanging rings because this beds for our toddler boys and they’re too young for those features yet. It’s super sturdy, made mostly of iron with some wood accents. Slide and rock wall are wood. It’s honestly great quality. We used “Purple” brand memory foam twin mattresses which don’t fit as well as the small futon mattresses in the product photos but they fit, just not a ton of room for tucking in sheets and comforter. Great size for toddlers and small children, wouldn’t recommend this sized product for middle school or teenagers because it is probably too small.. Caiti. Billings, MT. Sat Jan 24 2026
