Love the look of the bed, and easy to assemble. As long as your kids decide not to hang or climb the frame, you should be ok. The cutoff in the fabric is cool, but unsure how to secure it and have it stay in place without sewing additional ties/loops, or maybe velcro. To be fair, this could be caused by the way we attached the fabric, unsure. But the picture helps indicate that the flap doesn't reach, allowing it to sway. The lights add nice ambiance, but for us, because the bed is flush against the wall covering the outlet, a slim profile adapter that had the plug for the lights facing down would have been preferred. Also, I am unsure if there is a switch for the lights (couldn't find one), forcing you to unplug them each time. We chose to use an old external battery with an on/off button, but a smart plug would solve this issue. We purchased a Nectar children's mattress that fits perfectly. Super cute and easy to assemble. Pros Affordable and Adorable! Love the size of this bed. Feels substantial and will make a statement in the nursery. But is the perfect size and low enough to the ground for a toddler to safely get in and out of. It is nicely padded all around so no ouchies! The fabric will also be a breeze to keep clean with just a wet sponge and mild cleaner. Cons some of the fabric sides were created….
