For the price this is good quality and I may buy a second one. However some negatives: I used a drill to assemble, and it would probably take forever and a few blister with the provided tool. The hinges don’t have pre drilled holes - that would have made it a lot easier. And the biggest issue is there a 1/4 inch gap between the door top and the door so it will need extra water proofing (and this isn’t a one off manufacturing issue - the gap is in the directions picture. I purchased this Little Free Library because it was advertised as suitable for outdoor use. Unfortunately, the wood used is clearly not appropriate for outdoor conditions. Even more disappointing, the doors broke on the very first day of installation. A product intended for outdoor use should be built with weather-resistant materials and durable hardware. Instead, this library appears poorly constructed and unable to withstand normal outdoor use. I expected much better quality based on the product description.
