This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. This bed turned out really nice! I love all the storage it has. It takes about 8 hours to assemble. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the drawers don't open very far, and all the bolts used to put this together are very visible, which I thought was a little strange. See pictures. Assembly would have been much easier with two people. Be aware that the door hinges are installed backward for shipping, so you’ll need to remove and reinstall them correctly for the doors to close properly.
