Back when my husband and I got married we purchased similar ones to these, but sadly, time, sun, and weather took their toll and we had to let them go. I have been on a search for them ever since. I was beyond excited to see Wayfair had them. The are quite tall, as indicated in the listing and heavy, so not a huge threat for them to be blown over by wind. They are just waiting for the weather to be warmer so I can coat them in UV protectant (the one recommended in the listing) and have "Darrel and Darrel" guarding our front door once again!. Kimberly. A 33 Inch Tall Burnished Sitting Lion Set of 2. Hand finished in an antiqued burnished finish with hand waxing that brings out highlights from the details of the sculpture. The pair is hand cast in a durable Fiberglass Resin. This set is recommended for interior use because of its finer finish. However, the casting will hold up in outdoor use. We do recommend that for outside long lasting use, the customer should provide lacquer top coat on an as needed basis depending on conditions.

Set arrived with one lion damaged and missing an entire leg, and both lions right-facing. Packing was thin sheets of styrofoam that was completely disintegrated upon opening the box. Wayfair customer service has been easy as usual but still waiting (with a broken lion and two boxes with of exploded styrofoam in my garage) on the manufacturer to “reach out” regarding return/exchange options.
