The open shelving gives everyday items and decorative pieces their own place, while the slatted sides bring a Mission-inspired look that feels classic without overwhelming the room. Its slim profile works well along a wall, helping the space feel more organized, collected, and ready for daily use.

I love the look of this bookcase and the fact that it’s real wood. It would have gotten 5 stars except for two things 1) There are no pre-drilled holes on the actual shelves making it difficult to screw the shelves in place. 2) Hardcover books don’t fit standing up. They have to be on their side and take up more room that way. I won’t return it because I love the way it looks in my room. Guess I’ll have to buy another one!!!. Phyllis. Wellington, FL. The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sun Sep 20 2026

This was surprisingly the simplest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together. It’s decent quality and quite sturdy. It’s very nice looking. My only complaint regarding it is that it did not come with any stickers to cover the metal connecting pieces so they stand out.. Melissa. Deltona, FL. Wed Aug 19 2026

It will also fit in your kitchen, hallway and other place you would like to have something in organization. The bookcase, the surface is wook-like pattern, and it attached very well on the board. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

The cabinet itself is beautiful (nice warm dark brown) and was easy for me (at 73 yrs old) to assemble. I just wish that they would come with a kit with two small screw drivers to assemble. I only found one small chip on the backside corner of the cabinet. It was easy for me to lift and put into place. I really wish I could have found it at 17 inches wide. Anything more would have been too wide but 15 inches wide worked well.. Dolores. US. Sun Sep 13 2026

The San Mateo Home Office Bunching Bookcase is the perfect addition to any home office. This piece is crafted from solid hardwood with a contemporary gray or Tuscan finish that will blend seamlessly into a variety of spaces. It features 5 separate compartments for storage and organization. Its sleek design allows it to fit your decor or other pieces of furniture for a streamlined look that won't detract from other items in the room.

This bookcase was purchased to replace one that was significantly smaller. Additionally, the other bookcase was made of laminate and pressboard that was of decent quality, but didn't quite have the quality to last for the time we desired. Once we received our shipment from Wayfair and unboxed all the pieces, I could see immediately that the quality of the material was far superior to not only our previous bookcase, but also several other products we've purchased from Wayfair. The finish was smooth as silk, and the stain was evenly applied throughout. The hardware to assemble the bookcase was also of superior quality to some of the cheap packs that arrive with other D-I-Y assembled products. NOTE: This product can be assembled by one person, but it would be much quicker and easier with two (or three if you're like me with two eager-to-help young 'uns). One of the trademarks of solid wood furniture is the weight of the finished product. This one indeed was heavy. Granted, non-solid wood furniture can be heavy, but if any of it is light, you can be assured the quality is slight! All in all, we are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.. Adam. Hallsville, TX. Tue Apr 07 2026

This bookcase brings easy organization and classic charm to your space. Crafted from solid wood, it offers open storage with three tiers of shelving for your favorite books, plants, and decorative accents. Vertical side slats keep items secure while adding an open, airy look. Its folding design allows for quick setup and convenient storage or portability whenever you decide to rearrange. Plus, the included tip-over restraint device adds extra security.

Came beautifully packaged! No dings. The color is slightly more orangey than I wanted but I’m okay with that. I love that there is no assembly, and the wood is fairly good quality for the price. Just two negatives - I wish I could remove the nubs (that join the units together) on the top unit, and the company sticker on the unit was a bear to get off - I don’t know why companies put them on the unit like that! A least make them easier to remove. Took me 25 minutes with goo be gone to scrape it off. I left the bottom one on that can’t be seen bc I don’t feel like scraping another one off!. Lisa. US. This wooden bookcase is crafted from oak and exudes a rustic charm, making it a timeless addition to your study or living room. This elegant bookshelf is crafted from solid oak wood that makes it durable and sturdy. The robust wooden shelf requires minimal maintenance, and the beautiful texture of the wood gives it a rustic charm. The shelves provide ample space for keeping your collections of books, magazines, and documents in perfect order. With a simple yet timeless design, the bookshelf can also be used for displaying decorative items, photo frames, etc. Warning: In order to prevent overturning, this product must be used with the wall attachment device provided.

The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026
