The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. Its very soft. The fabric has a nice weight, not too heavy not too light. The stripes are gray with a green undertone. Wrinkles didn't come out after washing, but they ironed out. I noticed that one of the shams had a paint dot on it and then noticed it on the other sham too. A bit smaller than the size of a pinhead.
