I’ve never had a duvet cover. I’m used to a comforter or an occasional blanket so my expectations were low. Plus my body temp runs hot. This oversized king Beige duvet is perfect! The 100 cotton works well for hot sleepers. I sleep like a baby with this. I don’t wake up feeling hot or sweaty like I normally do. I love the lived-in look of the fabric. The included pillowcases have that envelope enclosure so I don’t have to worry about my pillows slipping out. I love the ruffled borders of the pillows too. This is a good set at a good price point. This is very nice quality linen at 180 gsm weight. It has a nice smooth hand with sufficient weight to lay and move gracefully, but it is not too "heavy" to be hot for sleeping. Sure, it could be heavier and even better quality, but then Id have to pay $500.00 instead of what I paid. I've paid double this and gotten a much more inferior linen . . . for example, from Quince. If you know anything about linen bedding, you will realize that this is an underrated item and a pure bargain. I hope they offer more color choices because I'd like to purchase more at these greaaat prices! OH. And PS, the "light gray" color is excellent.
