Linea Casa By Sferra Queen Matelasse Coverlet

Our Juliet Matelassé Coverlet is a long time favorite. Its textured basket weave design and garment-washed finish make it soft and sumptuous. Available in five favorite neutrals to go with all of your Peacock Alley bedding. Available in coverlets and shams.

Wow! Love it! I’m now a total peacock alley fan, if you have a king bed, this version (and many other peacock alley versions) have more generous sizing to allow extra drape on the sides. Not too much, it isn’t like a bedspread. Also I love that the Juliet has some give. I have the Hamilton which I love but it has zero give and looks more like a quilt. It’s gorgeous too. It depends on what you are going for. Both are in the luxury bedding category,. Mary. Reno, NV. Sat Oct 10 2026

Damian is a structured, modern matelassé constructed out of mercerized cotton for a sleek edge. Matelasse (mat-la-SAY) is a weaving or stitching technique yielding a pattern that appears quilted or padded. Matelass may be achieved by hand, on a jacquard loom, or a quilting machine. It is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched quilts made in Marseilles, France. It is a heavy, thick textile that appears to be padded, but actually has no padding within the fabric. Our Hugh Matelasse has a soft, pebble-like texture.
