Our sheets are made from organic rayon from bamboo using our patented closed-loop process with food-grade, non-toxic solvents. This process produces a unique 100% rayon from bamboo lyocell free from harmful chemicals and plastics, unlike other rayon from bamboo viscose and rayon from bamboo/poly blends on the market.

Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are.
