Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. Ok so I would have given this 5 stars because it’s gorgeous and COULD HAVE BEEN easy to assemble - BUT… it came with the screwsbolts on the legs covered in some sort of protective hard plastic that was all but GLUED to the metal. I had to use assorted serrated knives to sawpry them off first. It took half an hour to get them all the way off and by the time I finally did it, there was shredded plastic all over the room, the wood was damaged because there was no way around that (I had to be aggressive to get them to budge), and I was bleeding. Such a great desk! Especially for a small space. Love the rounded corners and recessed handle slots on the drawers. Yep, drawers —plural. Assembly was SO easy. You literally just attach four legs.
