The table looks like marble but it's actually sintered stone, the most durable and weather resistant table surface available. It's man made but all natural, made from minerals yet has no resins. I can put the hottest pot on it and it won't stain or burn, it's also non porous and hail resistant. Last hail storm didn't even leave a scratch or a chip. Overall very pretty and sturdy. I am grateful I hired the delivery people to put it together. The cement top is very heavy. I had a concern with one top bolt not same amount tightened but all seems to be secure. I like that there is a cover for the umbrella opening. And perhaps it’s my uneven patio causing the issue. The only other item that was different is the color of the top is a lot darker than what was shown in the pictures. Very dark gray. It works but preference was the lighter gray as shown.
