The lighthouse birdhouse is a spot-on replica of the famous located at the easternmost point of Long Island, New York. The construction of the lighthouse was authorized by none other than President George Washington and bears the distinction of being the first public works project of the United States. The (in) famous pirate Captain Kidd is said to have buried treasure at the foot of the lighthouse, but it's yet to be found. This red and white lighthouse is a fully functional birdhouse featuring two nest boxes with openings, a removable back for yearly cleaning, drainage, ventilation, and unpainted interiors. The entire structure is built upon a river stone foundation and a custom-fit mounting plate makes installation a snap!

I had a birdhouse from this company for a few years. Normally, I bring it in during the winter and put it in the shed. Last year I didn’t and our harsh winner destroyed it. This time I decided to replace it with a completely different style. Instead of looking like a house, I got a light house. I have a little bit of an ocean theme going in the backyard and the lighthouse just fit perfectly.. Debbie. Citrus Heights, CA. Tue May 13 2025

Light weight. Feels soft against skin. Wish it was longer on the side of the bed. It just touches the top of my blue bed skirt. Consider purchasing a bed skirt if you buy this quilt. Since the quilt is not long on each side without a bed skirt you would see bed frame, box spring and under the bed storage. The bed skirt frame, provides a cleaner look.. Jay. Carolina Beach, NC.
