In case you’re wondering where the bolts are for connecting the base to the mirror, they’re already screwed in underneath the mirror. You just need to unscrew them first. Item arrived timely, packed well, and without damage. Assembly, however, was another story. The instructions are absolutely horrible and utterly useless. My husband happens to be very good with diy and assembly so he was able to put it together using the photo of what it looks like completed. So I removed a star for the poor instructions. Anyone purchasing should be aware that you’ll need to be confident in your assembly abilities or know someone who is. Other than that, I absolutely love it! It’s just the right size for my space and provides ample storage. The lights are a nice extra! The ten side drawers are narrow but deep, and they glide very smoothly. The center drawer has the glass top, making your items in there visible. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll be using that drawer for jewelry or cosmetics. The only thing it was missing was a power outlet for hair tools, etc. I simply purchased an attractive surge protector that I could leave accessible and while it does take up some of the vanity top space, you could easily get one that attaches to the side of the vanity and it would still be accessible. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the ‘crystal’ knobs and I’m still not sure and I planned to change them originally, but I may stay with them. My favorite mirror. Not only can you adjust the mirror lights for different lights but you can also adjust the led lights around the mirror. This mirror is nice. I also love that it has the Bluetooth speaker that plays at a really nice volume. My only issue is the display, not sure if the carrier dropped it but the display screen looks a little damaged from the inside of the mirror. Originally came with broken pieces in the shipment. The company resent the defective pieces at no charge. The padded seat was worse the second time, but I’ll just reupholster it myself instead of requesting a 3rd one. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. The vanity itself is good. It wasn’t hard to assemble. The negative issue is that all the listing pictures show a stool but it didn’t come with a stool. Now I have to find one.
