I wanted a spring/summer tree for my enclosed porch and was happy to find this one. It has a lovely soft glow, it looks very nice in person and appears decently constructed. The sticking point is that this tree is not even 48"" at it's tippy top, nevermind being the 50"" advertised. A few inches sounds like a small amount, but nearly 4"" smaller is very disappointing and noticeably smaller since I currently own a 50"" tree for autumn and this looks much smaller in the same space. This is definitely something to be aware of when considering the purchase. The minimalist-style tree is studded with hundreds of warm white microlights on bendable branches to look gorgeous in your home or as part of your landscape. The graceful, light-wrapped branches are beautiful as-is or they can be lightly decorated with simple ornaments. This tree welcomes the holidays beautifully, but it can also be used as decor all year long. Comes with a removable, square plastic mounting base and four ground stakes. Use as is, or you can wrap the base with burlap or faux snow, place the tree in a pot or decorative container, or stake it into the ground. The brown tree is sprinkled with a dusting of faux snow and has copper wire; White has a silver wire. The electric tree has a 16'L lead cord. Size is approximate. Wire and plastic construction for indoors or out. Easy assembly.

I had this tree on my wishlist for over a year but with the cost and no photos etc I was hesitant. I finally pulled the trigger and here are my pros and cons: Pros: * It's generally as described in re height, design, etc. * Everything you need is included (but see con on stability) * Every single blossom is lighted and the blossoms are a durable, soft silicone (they also are removable so don't panic if you find a handful at the bottom of the box). * It is a statement piece! Cons: * It is very top heavy and wobbly. If you have pets or small kids you'll need to find a way to stabilize it. The base is a small metal square but it does have holes so you could bolt it into something * It comes in multiple pieces: the base, two "trunks" and six branches, so it needs to be assembled and all the wires connected. Each twig on each branch will need to be "fluffed" and positioned but hopefully you only have to do it once * The trunk and branches are covered in black matte tape. Mine was slightly torn in a few spots (pictured) and it doesn't look like bark * The connectors and wires definitely show but you can tape or tuck them up to make it somewhat less obvious. * The cord starts from the place where the branches join the trunk (about 2/3 of the way up) instead of at the bottom so it hangs a long way to the outlet and could easily get snagged by pets or kids etc. Overall it's a lovely piece and with some time, effort, and ingenuity should be a stunner but you'll need to put in the work..
