Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built. This is a beautiful canopy bed! The color of the wood (all solid) and construction is exactly what I hoped for based on the listing. There are no exposed screws/hardware (which is hard to come by in canopy beds) and the joints in the top are beautifully executed. Do yourself a favor: make sure you have 2 people for assembly. It will take some time and work but it isn't super challenging. The allen wrench (provided) has an end that will make the hard-to-reach spaces easier, but make sure you have a second one to make the process go by faster.
