This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. Bring flexibility and modern elegance to your dining area with this 3-in-1 extendable pedestal dining table. Designed to adapt to your lifestyle, it effortlessly transforms from a compact 47” round table (seats 4) to a 65” oval (seats 6), and fully extends to 83” long (seats 8) — perfect for intimate dinners, family meals, or hosting guests. Supported by a sturdy pedestal base, this space-saving table offers maximum legroom while maintaining a sleek, balanced look. Crafted from durable MDF and it’s ideal for modern homes that demand both style and versatility.

I really love the look of this table and I'm torn between 3/4 stars. The pedestal design is beautiful, the walnut color is gorgeous, and I love that it converts from round to oval. The extension leaves work really well and are surprisingly substantial and heavy. Assembly was pretty easy too. That said, I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials, especially for the price. The laminate in particular feels pretty cheap. One of the pedestal posts already has laminate peeling away at the seam (it was like this at delivery), and you have to be really careful when putting in some of the screws and bolts because the laminate can easily peel or get damaged around those areas. My table was also missing some of the parts needed to secure the tabletop to the pedestal. I contacted customer service about that, and the manufacturer was very nice and immediately sent out the missing parts, which I really appreciated. I haven’t contacted them about the peeling laminate because I think I can fix it myself with some contact cement. Since the pedestal is such a large piece, I really don’t want to go through the hassle of replacing it if I can avoid it. I may still reach out if I can’t fix it, although I see the table is currently out of stock. Overall, I really do love this table and wish this exact design were available in real wood. It’s not an inexpensive table, and I do think it’s overpriced for the quality of the materials. I would happily pay more for this same design if it were made with real wood and a better-quality finish. It’s a beautiful, functional table, I just wish the quality matched the price.. Anonymous. I expected 59- 70in. I ended up keeping it cause It looks good in my small room and it would be too much hassle to return it. Also the price was pretty good. It came the next day I ordered it.. Great table! Super easy to assemble plus expand/contract (two switches to flip then pull out). It is quite heavy too be fair but that makes the extension more stable I think. This extendable rectangular dining table looks great and works well for us. Though, the advertising is slightly misleading. Pros It is very sturdy. The leaf actually stores within the table when not in use, which is different than advertised, but a huge plus! It expands very easily and is secure. The color is true to the pictures. Cons It is not solid wood as advertised (see image). When expanded, only the tabletop moves, not the legs as shown in the pictures. Only 2 chairs can fit between the legs.. Victoria. Cocoa, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

A spacious top in light oak finish rests on cylindrical legs, creating a charming two-tone silhouette. Crafted from solid oak, it offers strength and style in equal measure. Missed where it mentioned engineered wood, not my favorite material. I just prefer solid wood throughout, not the mixture of the two. Honestly, more engineered wood than solid. Otherwise, it’s a sturdy table, and very easy to put together.. Kelsey. IN. Wed Sep 09 2026

I received my Danity light brown table today. I was concerned because pictures show a wide variety of colors, however, I was pleased w the soft brown color. The table is heavy and substantial. It had a chip in the leaf and the corner was a bit smooshed, a repair medic is supposed to come look at these flaws. I will include pictures. Overall the table is lovely. The first pictures are w the room lights off, the last is w the overhead light on, for reference.. Christine. St Louis, MO. Thu Sep 24 2026
