We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. Fantastic price and very good quality, lightweight, super easy to put together (im terrible at that and only took me 10 minutes)... i didnt use the brackets or attach to my frame but wedged behind the bed (so no tools or assembly needed) and used some foamy double side tape behind it to keep it from moving and banging against the wall and its working perfectly.
