As expected, there was a similar one on Wayfair for cheaper but this one claimed it was solid wood. The base is solid wood however the top is like a mdf. It is very sturdy and I love how it looks. Came pre-assembled except for the legs. I would note the drawers on top are painted this shimmer like gold-bronze but looks like wood from far way. Overall I do like it.
