This solid wood console is a fantastic piece of furniture. You can feel the quality in every detail. It took about 20 minutes to assemble, but it did take two people to hold it together when installing the bottom shelf. There were only two pieces and the legs. You didn’t have to assemble the drawers. The instructions were a bit unclear, but the assembly was so simple that it was easy to figure out. Just make sure not to tighten the bolts until everything is assembled. The console fits perfectly in my hallway. Its minimal depth makes it the perfect fit for this space. I highly recommend it!. Just the right size. We ordered the oak color and the finish looks less cheap in person. We all know how this fake wood can look. I found this little narrow consolesofa table to be absolutely perfect for a narrow hallway that I had where I needed a obviously puppy goodie set up location that also worked as shoe storage.
