I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. I purchased two of these beds. Before buying, I read several reviews mentioning that mattresses had fallen through, or that the bed had fallen apart. After assembling both frames, I can understand how that could potentially happen — at least with one of them. There was a noticeable difference in material quality between the two beds. One feels solid and sturdy, and the slats seem like they will hold up well. The other felt more fragile during assembly. The “wood” (not real wood) was splintering slightly while we were screwing the parts together, which makes me question the durability over time. Assembly took about 2.5 hours per bed with two people. They look great once assembled, and I really love how they turned out. However, the inconsistency between the two frames makes me think quality control may be an issue. It's a beautiful bed but I had to return it since it's a King sized bedframe and I have a Queen. Forgot to double check the size during my hectic move. I should've realized it when the bedframe was huge. The assembly was not super easy for one person, but doable (I'm a 5'3" woman). My floors aren't properly leveled so I had trouble aligning a few of the holes on the headboard. I had to really push and re-adjust, but I got it all done in about 2 hours. The wood legs are a bit weak and do hear creaking. I decided to opt out of screwing every single slat to the bedframe since that would take way too long and I was tired! It did not feel super secure but I also put a queen mattress on it so.. Anyways, its good for the price and you get what you pay for - I really liked the look and probably would've kept it if iit wass the right size!
