This was my couch for my first apartment. If you are looking for an affordable stylish couch then this is perfect for you. I like the couch and how it looks aesthetically and am overall happy with my purchase. I especially appreciate the thick arm rests, and the extra storage for blankets etc.! The couch is firmer, but I think it will get comfier over time. it’s not anything that would deter me from buying it, just noting if that matters to you! The couch is low, and i usually like low couches but i might get new legs just to help make the line of sight better for my tv. nothing wrong with the couch though in that sense, just personal preference! My only gripe though, building this couch took HOURS. i had assistance and when you open the manual little did we know we were building it for left side facing, and then we got FAR into building it and it was like “by the way if you need this to be right facing then flip to back of book”. Lo and behold there was an entire set of directions meant for the right facing version (that I needed) so we had to take apart a large chunk of it and do it again. Also the directions are just confusing. I’ve built plenty of furniture without any issues, I usually like building furniture and when people say something is hard to build, i’m usually fine. but HOLYYY. we had to take apart and put back together, the back rests I think, like 5 times because the directions were unclear After we built the couch i was like okay this feels stable enough as long as I don’t try to pick it up or move it. But, I got a rug. When we tried to lift the couch it literally fell apart like a cartoon. And that is not an exaggeration i was so upset at this point i didn’t even pull up the directions and I just put it together with what made sense to me. This couch is very comfortable, sturdy and feels well made. The color is a little darker than what’s shown in the pictures, but it still looks great. It arrived very well packed and protected. Overall, a good couch for the price. I got the couch in two boxes one day apart. Left side was first day, right side second day. You need to allow the back and bottom cushions at least 24 hours to inflate fully. Even then they look a bit messy. Left side in photo is after 48 hours. Had to add extra stuffing to back pillows.
