Beautiful bulb but doesn't work with our dimmer. The bulb is stunning both on and off. When left on for a while, it flickers with our dimmer when below 1/2 way, makes noise when higherv then 1/2 way. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. Soft white is a good color for most indoor spaces throughout the day, though it should be noted that this isn't the same as "warm white". 1100 Lumens is quite bright, so they definitely are good at lighting up a whole room. That being said, for more than $30 for a pack of six, this is definitely an expensive buy. You can easily buy lightbulbs for much cheaper.
