We tried reaching out to Wayfair customer service but was told nothing could be done. The chairs are adult owned and used - no harsh treatment by any means. We feel disappointed in the quality (or lack of), but also in Wayfair's refusal to stand behind a product they sold. I bought this recliner to assist in my knee replacement comfort. The only downside is sometimes I feel like I have to keep pushing back to remain in a totally reclined position additionally, if you are looking for a wrap you up squishy comfort -this is not your chair-it does the job and is easy on the eyes.
