I ordered this because i wanted something that didn’t look cheap and was solid wood, for that I love it. However, the wood is bare and i felt that it was a little too reddish, so it needed some extra TLC to make it feel complete. Would definitely recommend staining (photos attached) or painting. I looked for weeks for the perfect piece to accent my reeded desk, which I also purchased from Wayfair. I use the tv stand as a credenza behind my desk. It is the perfect height to sit right at the window ledge and not block my view of the lake. I love the lighter color. The fluting on the door panels accent my reeded desk. It is not very difficult to assemble but be prepared to spend a couple of hours. It is helpful to have a helping hand for the initial stage of the assembly. I’m very pleased with this purchase..
