The heavy top crown is accented with bead molding and draws attention to the chamfered pilasters that soften the case. The first desk took us about 5 hours, and even knowing exactly what we were doing, the second still took about 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend having two people, plenty of space, and a whole lot of patience. That being said, the instruction manual was surprisingly clear and helpful. There are simply a LOT of pieces and steps involved. Once assembled, though Worth it. They look like much more expensive pieces of furniture and completely transformed our homeschool room. I especially love all of the drawers, cabinets, shelving, and built-in desktop outlets. If you’re willing to survive the assembly process, I highly recommend them. This Murphy bed is the perfect solution for small spaces. When the bed is folded up, it saves a lot of space for your daily activities. The wooden board on the outer surface of the bed can be used for temporary office or to place items. The bed is made of pine and MDF, and does not require a spring mattress to carry your mattress. When you wake up, you can easily fold the bed into a cabinet, providing ample space for your indoor activities during the day, and it can be used as a study place.

Really nice entertainment center!! Great quality and very sturdy. This unit is on the thinner side of entertainment centers and the two outside drawers only pull out about 3 inches literally, so not much use. This Murphy bed is an ideal choice for small apartments. When folded, it can immediately free up a lot of space for daily activities. The outer panel of the bed is cleverly designed, which can be used as a temporary workbench or for placing items. The side of the bed is equipped with sufficient storage shelves, providing a lot of storage space. Whether it is books, decorations, daily clothes or exquisite jewelry, they can be stored neatly and orderly.

This piece takes quite a while to put together and requires at least 2 adults to do it well. The assembly hardware doesn't fit tighly and easily shows because it is a contrasting color. I do not foresee the bookshelves staying in place with heavy use because the stabilizing pegs are too small for the holes. The swinging feet readily loosen every time you put it up or down. We are only planning guest use for this. I wouldn't rely on it for consistent daily use. I do not think it would hold up for more than a year without repairs.. Anonymous. Mon Sep 29 2025
