This is great! The ladder is sanded very smooth and soft, no additional sanding required. Ladder is difficult to assemble, as in awkward. You will need someone to hold things and fiddle with it with you. The rail was super easy, and the metal pieces are pretty substantial. My only complaint is that one of the screw heads sheared off, so now I don't have support there, but the hassle of trying to tap it out has prevented me from dealing with it unless I have to. Lots of pieces and it took some time to put it together, that being said it seems solid. I will be using it for my attic space so I will only use it a handful of times a year. Not sure how it would hold up using it daily. But I like using this much better than getting my stepladder out every time I go up there.
