We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. Did put together top and bottom with holes facing wrong way and had to remove and flip one bottom tower so that joining screws found holes. Very wobbly and definitely anchored to wall on either side. This is pretty decent quality. Not high end for sure but perfect for my game room as a display for my statues I paint. When building it, it seems unstable and wobbly but once you put the clips in the back its very solid and stable. I recommend adding self adhesive felt to the bottom of the furniture when building it. The LEDS work well but it could use another set on the second shelves of each section so I am going to add two more strips to mine. The LEDS are also at a very bright white range so I'm replacing the existing ones with 5500k temp lights that will display the colors more correctly. This exceeded my expectations. We purchased this to store and display some of the Lego’s my son has put together over the years and to brighten up our newly finished basement. It looks so cool and the motion sensing light has the added benefit of lighting the steps into the basement without needing to go upstairs to hit the switch. It is a soft enough glow to not interrupt anyone’s need for darkness, while still illuminating the steps enough eyes to adjust to the darkness and since you can set it for motion sensing, it only remains on for a few moments. I love this lighted cabinet. It was fairly easy to put together. It took me about an hour and a half and the instructions were easy to follow. It could have probably taken me less to assemble but I took my time because of the glass. I wanted to be careful and make sure it didn’t get damaged during the process. I like that the lights are still plug in and not battery operated. They are stick on so all you have to do is peel and stick. I’m hoping to use it to fill with all of my marathon medals. The only way this could be better is if it was made of real wood but then it'd cost too much. Easy instruction, easy build. Three light strips built in, to shine on my items and three light colors to choose from. Huge 55 inch well-made high-quality 10 cube bookcase. Much larger than expected with so much room. Comes with all the hardware and tools necessary for assembly. I definitely recommend two people for this project. The lights underneath the cabinet were not working, but Wayfair took care of the problem immediately, and waiting on the replacement part.
