The artist, D’Alessandro Léon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew into his obsession. D’Alessandro Léon attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods studying different techniques, D’Alessandro Léon's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During his studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro Léon was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

I absolutely love this picture. The colors are beautiful. The quality is amazing so happy with this purchase.. Cheri. Bradenton, FL. Sun Aug 10 2025

Love this! I’m giving four stars instead of five because I see two issues: the frame is not fully affixed to the canvas-wrapped support and the wire for hanging is not very sturdy. I will need to reinforce the wire and the hangers they are attached to - the entire piece is pretty heavy.. Beth. Daniel Island, SC. Wed Jul 29 2026

Impressive! Large, tall painting fills a large white wall. Colors are muted greens giving a serene ambiance. It arrived in perfect condition and was well packaged.. Bobbie. Vancouver, WA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Beautiful piece. Works well in my space. Be aware that there is guilded gold in this piece. I chose the glass coat option and there was still guilded gold applied. Not what I was expecting, but will make it a conversation piece.. Philip. Atlanta, GA. Mon Apr 10 2023

I like the picture better on your site than in person although the colors are pretty much as represented on the site. I also expected to see more ‘brushstrokes” as this item is considered a custom order and cannot be returned.. Kathleen. Matthews, NC. Tue Dec 16 2025

Plane of Existence 1 is a magnificent work of art on canvas. Displaying a mastery of composition, technique, and color theory, a figure-ground perspective is expertly established, allowing the viewer an appreciation of the separation of foreground and background. in the distance, a light gray sky is broken up by a darker palette of iron, ash, and gray. along the horizon, a sharp slate adds a sense of depth and dimension. Abstract and textural, Plane of Existence 1 is a masterful composition on canvas. Part of the carefully curated Art by TA collection.

Featuring hand-applied linen and scattered gypsum details, each hand-painted canvas is encased in a brushed champagne gold gallery frame, offering a modern yet timeless aesthetic for your space. Due to the handcrafted nature of this artwork, each piece may have subtle differences.

Bring the tranquility of the coast home with the "Harborview II." This handcrafted abstract piece, printed on archival giclee canvas, is expertly framed in lightweight solid pine wood, ready to elevate your modern living space.

In Dreams Coming True, vibrant magentas and ocean blues converge in rhythmic sweeps of color. The composition radiates optimism — an interplay between emotion, energy, and pure form. Created 2019, this hand-signed acrylic on canvas is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and curated by R2H Modern as a symbol of joyful transcendence.

"Drifting into the Abstract 1" is a mesmerizing work on canvas that recalls the soak-staining technique developed by American Abstractionist Helen Frankenthaler. Using thinned layers of color, translucency, and saturation are achieved across the entirety of the canvas, broken up only by a thin line that composes the abstract horizon. Muted tones on the top of the canvas, while the bottom half is more densely formed in subtle shades. This art is a masterpiece on canvas.

This is perfect for a coastal chic home! It adds just enough color to accent a neutral palette perfectly.. Kelly. Fri May 08 2026

Expansion on the Mind 1 is a large-scale work on canvas emblematic of second-generation abstract expressionism that features a bold gestural approach with sweeping brushstrokes. This work favors an all-over composition and invites the viewer's eye to be drawn in multiple directions. This lack of a singular focal point amplifies the feeling of boundlessness, in line with the painting's title. In keeping with the style of painting, this work relies on flatness to emphasize the two-dimensional nature of the artwork. This technique can involve a disregard for traditional techniques such as perspective, shading, and realism. The color palette in alabaster, ochre, olive green, cerulean, maze, and dove gray reflects the complexities and fluidity of this accomplished work. Expertly blending light, airy colors with rich tones in this emotional work of art, Expansion on the Mind 1 is a beautiful addition to the exclusive Art by TA collection.
