This painting is spectacular! I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect mix of grays and blues that I was looking for. I was very hesitant to buy artwork without actually seeing it, but I can say that the delivered product looks exactly as the image on the Perigold site. I also opted for having it delivered inside my house versus left on the step. The delivery people carefully handled the painting and were very professional. There wasn't a mark or ding on the box. I wish all deliveries could go so perfectly.. Cheryl. Colorado Springs, CO. Tue Apr 27 2021

It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. An organic and instinctual painter, Artist Sarah Stockstill’s process relies on a foundation of several layers of texture that is applied and sanded back to get a smooth surface that lets her most immediate marks shine on the surface. Responding to color and forms, she follows as led. Sometimes into a deep horizon with traces of landscape, an organic jungle of pattern, a human figure, and every now and then an animal with an ethereal mystique. Sometimes the layering is broad, covering the entire canvas, and sometimes it is minute, focusing and embellishing a possible overlooked element of the painting which in turn becomes the center of interest. Most layers are created and taken away, leaving small traces whose threads become more important for doing so.

I absolutely love this artwork. It's abstract and very interesting. The colors are soothing and works perfectly in my She-Shed. Love it!!!. Deloris. Wesley Chapel, FL. Mon Jun 17 2024

There is always a reflection from within, along with the gift of clarity and purpose. She paints intuitively, letting layers of paint, fabric, collage, and paper interact and unfold into a story. When she discovers the story within the painting, its meaning comes into focus. When the meaning has been revealed, her painting is complete.
