Also, assemble this in the place you plan to keep it. The shelves are lined with particle board, which is flimsy but not concerning for me given this unit sits in a dark storage closet. Love Love Love this! Looks so beautiful in the space, and the chocolate painted wall really makes it pop. When the box arrived, it was really beat up with actual holes in it. But it was packed so well that everything was perfect! The instructions were easy to read and follow. I put it together in approximately 40 minutes. The shelving unit also comes with wall anchors, and its recommended to use. After I put my decorative items on the shelves, I decided I better anchor the unit, just for safety sake.
