Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. I purchased two porter 62” loveseats in nomad snow chenille for my small living room. I love the look and the fabric is very soft and cozy. I like that for a compact loveseat, the seats are nice and deep for me to curl up on (I’m 5’10”) with my dog. I had to situate and steam the slipcovers a bit after delivery to make them look a little tidier but that was to be expected at this price and from reading reviews. The couches are light and I think the frames are pretty cheap (they twist easily when you lift one of the legs which I did to put floor protectors on the legs) so we’ll see how it holds up over time, but I do like them. The nomad snow is a very light/almost white linen color but has just enough beige woven in that I’m hoping it will hide mild dog hair etc and not be too much upkeep! Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new!
