We needed a product like this for magazines and booklets in our office area and are pleased with the modern look of the product pictures. We anticipate it will take up very little space with a large capacity. The packaging was not the best as the box arrived crushed and there was very thin foam sheets between the pieces. We are in the process of inspecting the pieces and putting it together; once together we will change the 4-star review if there are any issues. If not, we will keep the 4-star rating, taking off one star for the packaging from the manufacturer that could have been improved by simply adding a stabilizing piece of cardboard to the middle of the box.. This is really much more sturdy than I expected. Like, the thought crossed my mind to use it as a stool, but then that didn't seem useful. FYI there are 9 height options (per the peg placements available) per side, but each side only has 5 little shelves. I guess if you wanted to get creative and it suited your purposes, you could put 9 shelves on one side and have 11 mostly very short shelves on one side and then only 1 shelf on the other side with very wide (relatively) vertical spacing.
