This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. CRAZY AMAZING! This is such a high-quality stainless steel range hood, and what great convenience that is convertible! You have you ever been in the situation where you bought the wrong appliance, it’s all unboxed and you’re installing it and realize oh darn! The pieces are extremely heavy and will require two people to mount that that’s pretty common with any very good range hood. Definitely stainless steel quality, the craftsmanship is sleek and modern. All parts are included as pictured. They added a nice touch of some oven mitts in brand new potholders that they cleverly used isn’t insulation in the box. There are only one drawback to this product that is that the vent is black plastic, it may not affect any performance, but that’s something I wish was that are quality material. However, I’m not familiar with other range hoods so I’m not sure if that is common or not. Adds a real statement to our kitchen, we are still waiting for our installer, but have mock fitted it into place and it’s just a huge wow. Beautiful item and it runs fabulous. This is a beautiful, sleek looking range hood. It has great features and is very well made. The convertible option is huge for those of us who don't currently have a vented hood. It is heavy but installation looks like it will be straight forward. My installation is delayed since I have to remove cabinets over the stove, find the backsplash tiles that current end at the bottom of the cabinet and continue it up before installing the hood. I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop.. Beautiful and quiet! Unit was fairly easy to install as this was a replacement for a 20 year old hood that had died. The "wax on, wax off" for fan speed didn't work well in test but needed to get it up. Issue persisted after install so I emailed support. The buttons and remote work perfectly. I was sent a video link on where your hand needs to be while swiping. This failed to resolve and I was asked to send a picture of the build sticker. Support confirmed the issue and are sending a replacement control board. It would be nice if the how to swipe video and any other manufacturer video, was included in the sales page or emailed on confirmation of purchase. The other issue I ran into was the sale price change. I bought the unit as an early Black Friday sale and then found that the price actually dropped further on Black Friday. Support offered to reimburse the difference and followed through! Thank you Emma with Dalxo \ IKTCH support! That said, in the future I will wait until Black Friday before making a large purchase like this in the future. (I would have leveled up to the one with 4 lights and better baffles.) This is a work in progress. I’m so far very happy with the quality of this range hood. The look is what attracted me to it. I wanted something modern but not too common. I will need to follow up with more pics after is fully installed. It is quite heavy so I’m reinforcing my ceiling just to make sure it is very secure. Very excited about getting this range hood installed! It arrived quickly and was very well protected in the packaging. The directions are very straight forward so I know our handyman won’t have any issues. I like that it can be ducted or ductless -nice option. For the price, this is a winner. Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This fan assembly fit that bill it’s also a rental property and so I didn’t want a glass unit even though I have one like that and like it a lot this unit is more “renter friendly” and safe no ones going to break it.. This is exactly the hood range that I was looking for. I needed one that did not need to be ducted outside so it needed to be recirculating, and I had a hard time finding one in black and in the size that I needed which was 30 inches. Luckily Wayfair had exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks before the electrician could come in to do the work but I wanted to get the review posted.
